This salad bowl is from the "A Little Color Collection" by "KAPKA," an enamelware brand founded by three Turkish women.

About KAPKA enamel products

All products are produced by hand in Turkey using traditional methods. The skilled techniques and craftsmanship of handmade enamel are the hallmarks of KAPKA.
Enamel products are made by applying a glass-based powder coating called enamel to pressed steel plates. After the enamel is applied to the iron, it is placed in a kiln and fired.
Depending on the design, we use a variety of techniques such as dipping, splashing and spraying, and then repaint and re-fire the piece multiple times to create the final design.

Regarding the handling of KAPKA enamel products

-Dishwasher safe.
- If it gets dirty, you can soak it in baking soda or lemon juice and then wash it as usual.
-Since enamel products are made of iron, please refrain from using them in the microwave.
-It can be used in the oven up to 250℃.
While we use the highest quality enamel, excessive contact with acidic foods may cause color changes, and blue-colored products may be more sensitive to acidic foods than other colors.
-It is also fine to store it in the freezer.
・KAPKA enamelware can still be used even if it is chipped. After chipping, we recommend not heating it at high temperatures to prevent the damage from spreading.
